Step 1: Sign Up

1. Click on "Login" in the footer menu
2. Enter your email address
3. You'll receive a 6-digit verification code
4. Enter the code to verify your email

Step 2: Complete Your Profile

1. Add your first and last name
2. Enter your phone number
3. Click "Complete Setup"

That's it! Your account is ready to use.

Step 1: Scan the Tag

1. Click "Scan" in the footer menu
2. Point your camera at the QR code
3. You'll be taken to the activation page

Step 2: Enter Details

1. Give your item a name (e.g., "My Laptop Bag")
2. Select who should be contacted if found
3. Add a note for the finder (optional)
4. Choose communication preferences

Step 3: Activate

1. Review your information
2. Click "Activate Tag"
3. Attach the tag to your item

Best Practices

• Place tags where they're easily visible
• Ensure the QR code isn't covered
• Clean the surface before attaching
• Avoid extreme temperatures

Suggestions by Item Type

• Keys: Attach to keyring
• Bags: Inside pocket or luggage tag
• Electronics: Back of device or case
• Wallets: Inside a card slot

To update your tag's information:

1. Go to "My Tags" from the footer menu
2. Find the tag you want to edit
3. Click "Manage Tag"
4. Update the information as needed
5. Click "Save Changes"

Family members can be set as contacts for your tags:

1. Go to "More" → "Family Members"
2. Click "Add Family Member"
3. Enter their name, phone, and email
4. Click "Add Contact"

Now you can select them when activating tags!

Offering a reward can motivate finders to return your item:

1. Edit your tag settings
2. Enable "Offer Reward"
3. Enter the reward amount
4. Save your changes

The reward information will be shown to the finder when they scan your tag.

1. Click the green "Scan" button in the footer
2. Allow camera access if prompted
3. Point your camera at the QR code
4. Hold steady until it's recognized
5. You'll be redirected automatically

If the scanner isn't working:

• Ensure good lighting conditions
• Clean your camera lens
• Hold the phone steady
• Try moving closer or further away
• Check camera permissions in browser settings
• Try refreshing the page

Thank you for being a good Samaritan! Here's what to do:

1. Scan the QR code on the tag
2. You'll see the owner's contact preferences
3. Choose how to contact them (call, WhatsApp, email)
4. Let them know where to find their item

The owner may have offered a reward - check the tag page!
